Photographers in Iceland | Mikaela Hamilton

For our second installment of this series, we asked photographer Mikaela Hamilton to give us a glimpse of the work she has done in Iceland. Mikaela is a humanitarian and travel photographer and she was one of the first women we interviewed back in 2013. Her updated interview will be published on the site in V3.

Iceland is a photographers playground.  I've never seen more cinematic landscapes that drastically change in a matter of hours, especially since Iceland is about the size of Virginia.  The lack of trees is bizarre and beautiful, which just added to the feeling that we were in another world.  I traveled the Ring Road with 5 pals from college in August 2015.
